1. Structure and content
At the start of the page there is a hyperlink to the content area. You will also find links to the different page view options for visually impaired users, described below. Then you will find three navigation areas in the following order:
- At the left below the logo there is a "breadcrumb navigation" bar, which displays your current location within the website you use.
- At the top left you will find a vertical navigation bar displaying the main information provided by the website.
- At the right you will find a horizontal navigation bar below the header, including links to recent news and the service and contact areas
To the right of the main content area you will find an information box with current content.
Located directly below the content area there is a link to jump to the top of the page and a button that opens the print version.
2. Help for the visually impaired
The design of the NADA website allows you to change the font size according to your needs. If you use Internet Explorer or Mozilla/Firefox, you can change the font size in the browser settings: View > Font Size. You can also increase/decrease the font size by pressing the CTRL key and scrolling using the mouse wheel (PLEASE NOTE: when using Internet Explorer 7, this not only changes the font size but zooms in or out the entire page).
Visually impaired persons can choose the following options at the top left below the logo: "High contrast", a yellow font on a dark blue background, and "No formatting", a view which displays the plain text version of the page without any design elements.
It might be helpful for you to view the pages without any graphics at all. Users of Firefox can deactivate the graphics and use the plain text version of the website by customizing the browser setting: View > Page Style > No Style. This view provides additional information for navigating the website.
3. Navigation
The pages are structured in such a way that you can also navigate using the keyboard. We have endeavored to arrange the contents in an order which is as logical and user-friendly as possible.
