  • Preparation of, presence at and follow-up on general meetings and meetings of the Board of Trustees (quarterly reports, annual reports);

  • Establishing and maintaining NADA Austria's policies and operative practices (general policies, product policy, quality policy, "sales policy", publication policy, internal and external information policy etc.);
  • Implementing the annual action plan, external communication;
  • Company's strategic orientation;
  • Representing the company in the public;
  • Finances (budget preparation, monitoring compliance with the budget plan, financial management etc.);
  • Agreements with customers;
  • Human resources policy (including staff replacement);
  • Resource management;
  • Representing NADA Austria's management;
  • Announcing adverse analytical findings;
  • Management review meeting once a year
  • Ensuring that further education programs for the staff are provided;
  • Control of all acquisitions;

Competences and responsibilities

  • Efficiency of the doping control system;
  • Responsibility for the testing pools;
  • Responsibility for the Anti-Doping Administration & Management System (ADAMS);
  • Responsibility for the system of doping control officers (DCOs);
  • Monitoring testing and reports;
  • Purchasing and maintaining inventory of doping control materials;
  • New developments in the doping control system;
  • Responsibility for checking confidential information/data;
  • Cooperation with governmental authorities for investigation and prosecution, regulating the public prosecutor's office access to NADA files;
  • Conducting disciplinary proceedings with the competent commissions;
  • Conducting training courses for doping control officers;
  • Maintaining contact with the anti-doping officers of the sports federations;
  • Maintaining international contacts and participating in the international anti-doping network (doping control systems, ADAMS etc.);
  • Cooperation with the Selection Commission, Legal Commission and the Independent Arbitration Commission;
  • Planning and secondary budget responsibility for the entire doping control division;
  • Collaboration in implementing the annual quality improvement plan;
  • Implementation of all regulations pertaining to NADA Austria's quality management system within the division;
  • Representing the management by delegation.

Competences and responsibilities

  • Assistant to the doping control system manager in all above-mentioned areas;
  • Managing negative findings;
  • Coordination of issues involving doping control officers;
  • Responsible for purchasing control materials;
  • Maintaining inventory of control materials including inspection upon receipt;
  • Preparation and distribution of sample materials;
  • Receipt and documentation of the samples;
  • Dispatch of the samples to the laboratory;
  • Safekeeping of the samples before their dispatch to the respective laboratory;
  • Data management in connection with the samples;
  • Implementation of all regulations pertaining to NADA Austria's quality management system within the division;
  • Representing the doping control system manager in his absence.

  • Prevention and public relations;
  • Responsibility for the website/multimedia presentation;
  • Media relations;
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of doping prevention and information projects targeted at competitive athletes, coaches, physicians, officials, students and non-competitive athletes;
  • Training of multipliers;
  • Responsible for printed matter (production, issue, dispatch, storage etc.);
  • Trainings, lectures and events;
  • Maintaining international contacts and participation in international networks (doping prevention, public relations etc.);
  • Cooperation with "anti-doping ambassadors";
  • Cooperation with the Ethics Commission;
  • Secondary budget responsibility for the division of prevention and public relations;
  • Implementation of all regulations pertaining to NADA Austria's quality management system within the division;
  • Representing the management by delegation.
  • Quality manager
  • Establishment and development of the quality management system as defined in EN ÖNORM ISO 9001 and preparation of the required documents;
  • Instructions for complying with and implementing updates of EN ÖNORM ISO 9001 and other standards;
  • Preparation of an audit program, inviting tenders for audits and conducting audits as required;
  • Collaboration in developing, checking and/or implementing the annual quality improvement plan;
  • Monitoring the implementation of the proposals for improvement resulting from audits;
  • Contact with certification organizations;
  • Responsibility for quality assurance;
  • Drafting a report as the basis for the management review.

  • Support of the Medical Commissions;
  • Annual organization of coordination meetings of the Medical Commissions;
  • Secondary budget responsibility for the medical division;
  • Implementation of all regulations pertaining to NADA Austria's quality management system within the division;
  • Representation of NADA Austria at national and international events (medical area etc.) by delegation.
