ISO certification
NADA Austria continues to stand for quality and is ISO 9001 certified.
Vienna-based Nationale Anti-Doping Agentur Austria GmbH (NADA Austria) received the ISO 9001:2008 certificate from Quality Austria Trainings-, Zertifizierungs- und Begutachtungs GmbH for its quality management program. Successful certification is an important step for every organization. Clearly-defined visions and concrete goals are key factors for succeeding in achieving an efficiently managed organization. As a result of verification and certification of the high quality standard, NADA Austria is authorized to perform services (e.g. testing) for other anti-doping organizations. The quality management guidelines issued by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) support this important step.
The road to success
In December 2009, NADA Austria's quality management system was completely revised and restructured. The implementation of quality and safety management within an organization is very important, in particular in the highly sensitive area of anti-doping work. The Intranet-based system, designed to continuously improve performance, allows monitoring and verification of the most important procedures.
